Help preserve our past
Membership subscriptions is important to the Society and underpins essential funding of priority projects, preserve and maintain the collection, operating costs for Halliday House Open Days and the publication Historical Bayswater, the Society’s newsletter.
The Bayswater Historical Society Inc was formed in 1991. We are a non-profit organisation with four aims:
- Firstly, to collect and record the history of the Bayswater district.
- Secondly, to preserve records and objects relating to the area.
- Thirdly, to promote public interest in and support for the preservation of historic records, buildings and sites.
- Finally, to establish and maintain a museum.
Our membership runs from 1 September of the current year until 31 August of the following year. Membership subscriptions are $30.00 for family, $20.00 for single and $13.00 for concession. You can pay the Society via bank deposit or cash in person at our next Open Day.
